Habitats and niches are essential for survival in the world we live in today. Without them the world would be in chaos or all life would die because the conditions where they would be living would be unsurvivable. Animals rely on each other in their habitats. Niches can also destroy or rebuild homes for other animals in the habitat. I will be sharing my habitat and niche with you.
My habitat is larger than most peoples where I live. It is grey and white and consists of four bedroom, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, and basement. When you exit the place where I take shelter at night and when bad weather occurs, you are in a yard with a fence surrounding it. The yard has a medium sized pool with a small deck and a swing set next to it. there is also a basketball court at the back end near the fence. Although, I do not have all of this space to my self.
I do not live in my habitat or shelter alone. I share it with my family who is my mom, dad, two sisters, my three cats, and one dog. Most of the people I share my habitat with do not sleep in the same room as I do. Only my dog Buttons and occasionally one of my cats Millie. My other cats names' are Milo and Samson. My sisters' names are Emma (the oldest) and Ella (the youngest). Ella likes to invade on my privacy in my room where I am most of the time.
The fact that I am in my bedroom most of the time that I am home leads it to become very messy. Every week I have to clean my room at least one. This is one of my many niches. My other jobs are to feed my animals, go to school, play sport (practice and games), and take Buttons on a walk every so often. I do not see myself doing most of these jobs in the future however.
My niche when I become older and an adult will hopefully be either an FBI agent or a forensic anthropologist. I would like to do this because it think that the people who break the law should be punished for their wrong doings. Because of the fact that I want to do something big in the world I will have to move out of the small area I live in now. I would like to move to California or Florida, but if I have to move somewhere else I will. Although I have smaller jobs and chores than I hope to achieve later, I have some similar jobs with some of my family members.
My older sister Emma has similar niches as I. She also has to clean her room, go to school, play sports, and she sometimes feeds the animals. My other members of my family however do not have similar niches and Emma and I. My mom, dad, little sister Ella, Buttons, Millie, Milo, and Samson have different niches. Both of my parents have to teach and the only thing Ella does is go to kindergarten for a while and come home with no homework. My pets just sit around all day at home while I go to school. My family members besides Emma have little to nothing in common with me.
Overall though, my habitat is considerably normal for someone my age. I plan on changing where I live and who I live with. I will not spend the rest of my life with my parents and siblings. I will also change jobs from what I have now. No matter where we are though, we have to have our specified habitats and niches. Without them the world would fall apart and will never be the same.
